Taking part in Dry January does NOT mean that you have to stay in and look on longingly whilst your friends have all the fun. There are plenty of ways to have fun, fulfil your Dry January pledge and support your favourite local business. Here’s just a sample of what we will offer you alongside the standard soft drinks ranges.

Lazer Crush - A Lazer Crush is a rocket-fuelled alcohol free beer meets grown-up soft drink. It’s a sharp IPA with a Monday to Sunday crushable 0.3%alcohol.  Combining flavours of sweet peach iced tea with light grapefruit bitterness for turbocharged refreshment.

Heineken Zero - A refreshing alcohol free beer characterised by fruity and fresh malt notes and a light body. At just 69 calories this is a great refreshing drink for everyone - even those watching what they eat in January too!

Old Mout Berries & Cheeries - This tasty tipple occurred when our crisp apples met their match with a handful of ripe berries and cherries. 0% ABV.

Virgin Mojito - The most refreshing virgin mojito is made with fresh mint, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, soda, and plenty of ice!

Things to do in the Docklands in January

You may not consider a day out in the Docklands at this time of year but there is lots going on. Dry January - interesting to know

Do you know how Dry January started?  It may seem natural that as the New Year rings in new goals and new beginnings, many choose to take a temporary break from drinking alcohol. But in 2013, Dry January was launched as a month-long challenge to remain alcohol free by the organisation, Alcohol Change UK. The practice has roots that extend as far back as 1942, when Finland had their own “Sober January” to help in the war against the Soviet Union but it didn’t catch on. Last year, 175,000 people in the UK registered to the Dry January challenge along with 15% of all US-based adults.
